seems like yesterday

20 years ago today SRV passed in a helicopter crash in Wisconsin. He's been a big influence on me even though I didn't really know who he was until after he was gone. he is often debated as one of the best ever. I would agree. It's hard for me to say that one person is better then another person at something when it involves an art form. But I would say he should always be in the conversation. Definitely one of the best blues/rock guitar players that's lived. I could make this last forever because I've read books about Stevie and even wrote a research paper about his life in high school.
